Santa Ana PD Seeks Help ID'ing Woman Hit by Car
SANTA ANA (CNS) - Police asked for the public's help today to identify a hospitalized woman who has been unable to speak after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana.
The mystery woman was pushing a shopping cart at the intersection of Fourth and Lacy streets when she was struck by a vehicle on Oct. 15, according to the Santa Ana police.
The woman was taken by paramedics to Western Medical Center in extremely critical condition. However, officers have been unable to determine who she is.
The victim's fingerprints have been run through all available local, state and federal databases with no match, according to police.
Her description does not match any report of a missing person in Santa Ana.
The woman remains housed at Western Medical Center but is unable to communicate with hospital staff or investigators, according to police.
